We are of the firm belief that toast cannot be beaten. Whether topped with mounds of ripe avocado or slathered in crunchy peanut butter, there is no better quick, inexpensive and totally delicious snack on the planet. 

 

To celebrate our love of all things toast, we are making an epic Facebook Live video chronicling 101 (yes, you heard us correctly) of our favourite toast toppings. If you are as inspired as we are, here’s what you’ll need to pocket to have your own toasty party in the order they appear in our video.  

 

Here's how we're doing it.

Toast 1

1. Spanish pan con tomate

To make this Spanish staple, you’ll need Taste the Difference sourdough bread, garlic and Taste the Difference vittoria tomatoes.

 

2. Ombre green goddess

We made this using Taste the Difference multiseeded wholemeal farmhouse bread, spinach and ricotta pesto, pea, mint and feta dip and garlic and herb soft cheese.

5. Bacon with brown sauce and ketchup

Why pick a side when you can have both? To make this, you’ll need white sliced bread, smoked Danish bacon, brown sauce and ketchup

 

6. Brie and bacon

This gorgeous sweet and savoury combo was made using Taste the Difference multiseeded wholemeal farmhouse bread, strawberry jam and brie.

 

7. Egg mayo with radish and cress

Add a twist to your brunches using Taste the Difference multiseeded wholemeal farmhouse bread, Taste the Difference golden yolked free range eggs, mayonnaise, radish and cress.

 

8. Reduced salt and sugar beans on toast with grated cheddar

This classic needs no introduction, but it does need wholemeal bread, reduced salt and sugar baked beans in tomato sauce and grated mature cheddar cheese.

 

9. Fried egg with ketchup and giraffe bread

10. Crushed avo and chilli flakes

13. Scrambled eggs with Sriracha

Posh up for beans on toast with giraffe bread and beans in hot and spicy tomato sauce.

 

15. Leftover meatballs on olive bread

16. Gluten-free bread with cream cheese and cucumber ribbons

24. Sweet potato toast with red pepper tapenade and courgette ribbons

Toasted, sliced sweet potato makes an amazing toast replacement. We used roasted red pepper and goat’s cheese tapenade and courgette.

 

25. Avocado and sashimi with sesame seeds

26. Leftover Vietnamese takeaway on toast
