The drink: Raspberry prosecco cocktail

Add a little raspberry liqueur to each champagne flute and top up with prosecco to create a fabulous two-tone effect. Use frozen raspberries as tasty ice cubes and put the glasses in the freezer 20 minutes before you want to use them – they'll keep your cocktails cooler for longer.

The starter: Prawn cocktail

Juicy cold water prawns tossed with creamy Marie Rose sauce on a bed of crisp lettuce – a classic starter for a reason.

The main: Pomegranate, honey and orange duck breasts

Serve these juicy duck breasts with roasted new potatoes and a warm salad, then drizzle with rich pomegranate, honey and orange jus.

The pud: Italian lemon polenta cake

This lemon-drizzle-style sponge is moist enough to enjoy for dessert and uses lemon zest as well as juice for real zing. Serve each slice with coconut cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if you prefer.
