Ingredients

  • 50g plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic granules
  • 2 large eggs
  • 125g rice pop cereal
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 460g chicken breasts, cut into evensized strips

Method

  1. 1 1. Combine the flour with the garlic granules and plenty of seasoning in a small bowl. Beat the eggs in a separate small bowl. Put the rice pop cereal in a medium-sized bowl and lightly crush them with your hands. Stir in the paprika.
  2. 2 2. Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6 and lightly grease a large baking tray. Dip each piece of chicken in the flour, then the egg – shaking off any excess – and finally the crushed cereal. Place on the baking tray.
  3. 3 3. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden and cooked through, turning over halfway. Serve with your choice of condiments.
