Toss the banana slices in the icing sugar. Heat a non-stick frying pan and cook the sugary bananas over a medium heat until caramelised. Add the lemon juice to the pan.
Warm the waffles under a hot grill or toaster and place on serving platter.
Top the waffles with the caramel bananas and serve with generous scoops of Carte D'or Caramel, Cinnamon and Waffle ice cream and a sprinkling of toasted nuts if desired.
