1 medium cooked beetroot in water

1 peeled sweet apple, core removed and roughly chopped (we used a Pink Lady)

1/2 a lemon

2 shots of Caleno

100mls Merchants Heart peppercorn tonic

handful of ice

Place the cooked beetroot, apple, lemon and Caleno into a blender and blitz until smooth. Add the merchants heart peppercorn tonic to the mix and give a little stir. Pour into glasses with plenty of ice.
