• 500g Inspired to Cook frying pan sourdough pizza mix
  • 160g firecracker British chicken breast slices
  • 400g chopped tomatoes
  • 150g lighter mozzarella cheese
  • 1 red pepper - cut into long slices
  • 5mls olive oil
  • 5g basil
  • pinch of sugar

    Add the sour dough mix to a large bowl or stand mixer, and add the water as the packet instruction and mix until you have a smooth dough, then knead for a few mins

    Leave in an oiled bowl for an hour or so - also works well if you leave this overnight in the fridge

    Make your tomato sauce by adding the tomatoes to a small pan, with a good pinch of dried basil and pinch of caster sugar, season to taste and cook through for around 5 minutes breaking up the tomatoes

    Remove the dough, onto a floured surface and cut in half - form into a ball

    Use a frying pan on a medium heat with the oil, put the ball of dough into the middle of the pan and work gently to the edges, until you’ve pushed it to the edges of the pan leaving a wider rim to make your crust.

    Now add a few spoons for your tomato sauce, and add your toppings, pepper slices, chicken and finished with some pieces of the cheese.

    Heat the pan gently until you can move the pizza in the pan just give the pan a gentle shake - this will mean the base is cooked

    Add your pan under the grill to finish cooking the top. Serve up with a side salad to complete the meal and enjoy!
