• 2 cloves garlic
  • 100ml soured cream
  • 100ml crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

    Roughly chop the garlic, then crush to a fine paste with a pestle and mortar. Put the soured cream, crème fraîche, chives and garlic in a food processor and whizz until smooth.

    Stir in the lemon juice and some freshly ground black pepper. Serve with crudités or warm pitta bread.
