• 800 g pack chicken wings
  • 390 g pack Italian chopped tomatoes in tomato juice
  • 1 spring onion, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and chopped
  • 3 tbsp spicy barbecue sauce

    Preheat the barbecue. Trim the chicken wings and push four onto each metal skewer.

    Cook on a rack above the coals, turning occasionally, for 30 minutes or until no pink remains.

    Meanwhile, make the tomato sauce. Blitz together the tomatoes, onion, red pepper and barbecue sauce. Either heat the sauce on the barbecue or on the hob for a few minutes until piping hot and thickened slightly. Dip the chicken in the sauce to serve.
