Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 rashers smoked back bacon, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 2 heads of romaine lettuce, leaves separated and washed
  • ½ x rotisserie chicken
  • 1 x 85g pack Sainsbury's Italian cheese & garlic croutons
  • 60g (about 15) marinated Adriatic anchovies
  • 35g parmesan cheese, shaved with a peeler
  • ½ x 175ml bottle be good to yourself Caesar dressing

Method

    Place the eggs in cold water, bring to the boil and cook for 4 minutes for soft-boiled eggs or 6 minutes for hard-boiled. Cool under running water, then peel and cut in half.

    Fry the bacon for 4-5 minutes, until golden.

    Place the lettuce leaves on a large platter, tear the chicken into pieces and scatter over the salad with the croutons, anchovies, parmesan and egg.

    Drizzle over the dressing and serve.
