Ingredients

  • 250 g soft salted butter
  • 250 g light brown soft sugar
  • 5 tbsp good-quality brandy
  • 2 tsp demerara sugar, for sprinkling

    Using a food processor or a bowl and an electric hand whisk, beat together the butter and sugar until creamy. Gradually add the brandy, mixing all the time. Spoon the brandy butter into a dish. Sprinkle with demerara sugar to serve.
