• 8 slice of white or wholemeal bread
  • a little oil
  • 350 g Sugo Pomodoro pasta sauce
  • 125 g ball of mozzarella

    Use a star-shaped pastry cutter to cut out stars from 8 slices of white or wholemeal bread. Brush each side of the bread with a little oil and bake on a baking sheet for 5 minutes at 180ºC, fan 170ºC, gas 4.

    Top each star with a little pasta sauce, and a small piece of mozzarella. Bake for a further 5-8 minutes. Serve warm.
